Fri, 26th Light Up The Night Boats, 8:30pm, [MMG], F/C Mike Dallessandro
Friday night July 26th at about 8:30pm we are going to hold a “light up the night” event.
My hope is as many members as possible will decorate their boats in the marina with their holiday lights and “light up the night” at sunset.
I am sure it will be a beautiful sight to see the boats all aglow with a variety of colored lights following a beautiful LYC sunset.
Happy hour and/or dinner on your own in the chart room. 8:30pm bring a dish to pass
Party under the pavilion along with some entertainment provided by Jay “Carpet Boy” and his guitar doing your summer boating drinking favorites
by Jimmy Buffet, Van Morrison and Gordon Lightfoot among others.
Dusk “boat lighting”, we will also take a vote for the best decorated boat for a small prize.
This will be a rain or shine event so save the date.
Even if it rains and we can’t play with electricity we can still drink under the pavilion and listen to some great music!
And who knows, with enough cocktails we’ll find something to light up even if it’s not boats!
Note: This event is open to Members, Mates & Guests.
This is a good way for guests get a perspective of the club, its activities and its membership.
Guests may turn into members.
Members increase restaurant food & beverage sales $$$ at LYC.
